I hope that you have time to relax now during the summer. To see all these family flocks and newly fledged birds reminds us that life is going on after all!
Another sign that life is going on is our upcoming conference in Giessen 14-18 March 2022. You may take the summer relief of academic duties to consider sending an abstract for a presentation during the conference. I would then gently remind you that the deadline for abstract submission for oral presentations is 31 July. I assume that you all have a backlog of nice results that you have not had the chance to present to fellow scientists for a long time.
So remember to submit your abstract before 31 July and I am eager to meet as many of you as possible at our great re-Union!
