Ecology of Animal Migration – a PhD level course
We are now happy to announce that this autumns PhD course “Ecology of Animal Migration” is open for applications. The course will cover theoretical and practical aspects of animal migration research, including locomotion, orientation and navigation, tracking and ecophysiology. A wide range of international speakers will contribute lectures, covering different aspects of migration in different study systems. Course participants are also expected to give a short presentation of their own research.

The course will take place between the 3rd and 14th of November 2025 at the Ecology building at Lund University, Lund, Sweden. A course fee of 8000 SEK will be charged to cover the costs of invited speakers.
